1. Who we are

northeastsourced.co.uk ("the Site") is run by Dove Design Ltd ("we", "us"). Sourced North East is a trading name of Dove Design Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 14814259. Registered office: 6 Atkinson Grove, Shotton Colliery, Durham DH6 2YA. Contact: hello@northeastsourced.co.uk. We are not VAT registered.

2. Using these terms

By using the Site you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. We may update these terms; the version on the Site when you use it applies.

3. Information only, not advice

The Site summarises grants, loans, investment, tenders and supplier information from public sources to help North East businesses find options. It is general information, not financial, legal, tax or professional advice, and not a recommendation that any scheme suits you.

4. Accuracy of grant and funding information

We check each listing against the funder's official page and show the date it was last checked, but schemes change, close early or run out of money, often without notice. We do not guarantee that any information (including eligibility, amounts, deadlines or status) is complete, accurate or current. Always confirm details with the funder or official source before you apply or make decisions.

5. No liability for funding decisions

We are not the funder and play no part in assessing applications. We are not responsible for whether you apply, are eligible, are successful, or for any decision, cost, missed deadline or loss arising from reliance on the Site. Use of the Site does not create any adviser–client relationship.

6. Sponsored content

Some placements are paid for. They are always labelled "Sponsored" (or similar). Sponsors never influence which schemes are listed or how they are described. Sponsors are responsible for their own adverts and offers; we do not endorse them. Sponsors are bound by our sponsorship and featured listing agreement.

7. Links to third-party sites

The Site links to funders, councils, government sites, sponsors and suppliers. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or services. A link is not an endorsement.

8. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, compilation of listings, logos and the name "Sourced North East" belong to us or our licensors. You may view, print and share links to pages for your own business use. You must not copy, scrape, republish or commercially reuse substantial parts of the Site without our written permission. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Third-party trade marks belong to their owners.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use the Site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access, introduce malware, overload it, or use automated tools to extract data in bulk.

10. Availability

The Site is provided free and "as is". We may change, suspend or withdraw it at any time without notice.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, funding, data or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss, arising from use of or reliance on the Site. The Site is intended for business users.

14. Governing law

These terms and any dispute (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

Grant information disclaimer

Sourced North East lists grants, loans, investment and other support for North East England businesses, gathered from public sources such as GOV.UK, Innovate UK, combined authorities, councils and other funders. We summarise each scheme in our own words, link to the official page and show the date we last checked it. Where details are unclear we say "check with funder" rather than guess.

Funding schemes change often. They can open late, close early when budgets run out, or change eligibility, amounts and deadlines without notice. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, accurate or up to date, and a listing is not confirmation that you are eligible or will succeed.

The information is general and is not financial, legal, tax or professional advice. You should confirm all details directly with the funder and take professional advice where appropriate before applying or making business decisions.

We are not the funder, do not assess applications and have no influence over outcomes. To the extent the law allows, Dove Design Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on listings, including missed deadlines, rejected applications or costs of applying. Sponsored placements are clearly labelled and never affect which schemes are listed or how they are described.
